How do I claim my purchase back from my health fund?
When you complete your purchase, you will receive an Order Confirmation & Tax Invoice which can be used for claiming back from your health fund, subject to your policy, level of cover & waiting periods.
Do I need a prescription to order contact lenses?
Yes, you must have a valid script from your Optometrist to order contact lenses. As part of placing your order with Optometrist Warehouse you confirm that you have a valid script from your optometrist.

What is a contact lens prescription?
Glasses and contact lenses will have different prescriptions. This is due to the lenses being directly positioned on the eye. A contact prescription will specify the power, base curve, diameter and manufacturer and other information such as product name.
Can I order any type of contact lens?
No – your contact lens prescription is for a specific product, as recommended by your optometrist for your vision needs.
What if I want to buy a different product to what is listed on my prescription?
You will need to discuss with an optometrist as not all contact lenses may work well for you. In a contact lens consultation, our optometrists can discuss and check things over for you and update your contact lens prescription.
Can I use my glasses prescription to order contact lenses?
No, your glasses prescription is specific for a pair of glasses. You need to have a valid script for contact lenses from your optometrist to order contact lenses.
Where can I order contact lens solution?
You can order your contact lens solution from Chemist Warehouse or from in store at any Chemist Warehouse.
Is a box of 30 lenses 30 pairs?
Each box has the stated number of lenses in it. For example, a box of 30 qty –1.50 lenses will have 30 lenses with the power –1.50.
What is the equivalent of my lens?
Your prescription may be for a 'private label' brand, such as easyvision. For most private label lenses there is a clinical equivalent, which is exactly the same lens in a branded box. Ordering
Why can't I find my product?
We are constantly updating our product range. Across the industry, some suppliers are facing supply issues for contact lens products. If you cannot find your product, please check back at a later date to see if it is available.
Can I cancel my order?
Once you have completed the checkout process and your order has been placed, we are unable to cancel the order. Please refer to the Returns Policy for further details.
I ordered the wrong product/power - what can I do now?

Can I use Chemist Warehouse Gift Vouchers to purchase contact lenses?
I normally order Product X, can I order Product Y?
Your optometrist will have provided you with a prescription for a particular product, which has been prescribed based on your particular eyecare needs. You should always order the product that is on the prescription provided by your optometrist.

Shipping
How long does delivery take?
For standard products, orders typically take between 5-10 business days to be delivered. You will receive an update with tracking information when your order has been shipped.
Do you have express delivery?
At this stage we are able to provide standard delivery via Australia Post. Your order will take between 5-10 business days to arrive. You will receive tracking information on your delivery after placing your order.
I received the wrong product

Do you deliver outside of Australia?
We are currently only able to ship to customers with addresses within Australia.

How do I request a refund?

We are unable to accept returns for contact lenses that have been opened. Please refer to the Returns Policy for further details.

Are eye tests bulk billed?
Yes, so long as you have a valid Medicare card, our eye tests are bulk billed at Optometrist Warehouse. Learn more and book an eye test here: Stores

How long does an eye test take in store?
